As the title suggests, this is my current shopping list - reserved for all those evil, consumerist facile materialistic things I want.

This page is maintained only briefly when the mood takes me, so if you are about to ship an item to me for no real reason…it’d be best to check first…don’t want to double up…

1:

First and most important on the list is the Panasonic TH-42PZ85B TV. Pretty awesome, it was love at first sight…42″ of full high def plasma wonderment. Picture quality is just awesome when fed with an HD source, and pretty good with SD as well, from what I’ve seen.

Looks a good deal better than the predecessor as well, having not such a wide bezel.

I would be tempted by the 46″ or even the 50″ if my living room were bigger, or even re-arranged differently. But hey, I’m not greedy, this 42″ would be pleasingly big enough without being ridiculous!

2:

Second is as important, and will be got shortly after the above. Namely the Sky HD pvr box, its a pretty nifty box of tricks, as it contains an 80gb (bit small ideally) hard drive. It’ll crap out full HD broadcasts from Sky where available.
It’ll record hours of TV and you can even set it to record via SMS!! The box even looks good design wise - what more could you want?

3:

Third is a kind of two in one cheat - both high def next gen games console, which by default gives you a heavily subsidised blue-ray dvd player. It is of course, the Sony playstation.

Hyped to hell, and also only available now in the 40gb non-backward compatible version, but a hell of a thing. Wireless, pretty hackable (you can fit a new bigger hard drive, and even install Linux on it to make the thing into a full on PC according to warranty-busting rumour…), its noisy and runs a bit hot, although neither as bad as the earlier 60gb version, but I still want one!

When the games developers finally get around to using its potential, the future should be bright. Bright black, that is.
